At a value presently of $4.8353, circulating supply of 6.52 Million coins and a total volume exchanged of $958,949, as reported by Coingecko, the value of Steem Dollars has improved.

24H LOW / 24H HIGH $4.0819 / $4.8752

The improvement follows from the low values of the previous two days were for example on 17/01/2018, SBD value dipped to a lowly $4.02 after plunging to a 24 hour low of $2.9931 and only achieving a 24 hour high of $4.3935

The value continues to rise and fall and rise and fall, and rise… it is pretty difficult to predict what happens next.

Today alone for example, the SBD value has kept rising and falling, at some point within the last hour, reaching as yet of today, its peak of $4.88 but also before that having seen a drop of up to $4.08.

Obviously the crypto world is still unstable, and the only thing we can be sure of is

the value of SBD as of other coins will certainly keep rising by the day,I short, every fall will be followed by a rise.

What is still difficult to be sure of is, rise or not, whether it will stabilize.

At what value will it stabilize? When?

Every Tom Dick and Harry is out there giving us soothing pills (You know how many out there are writing to appease and encourage, a very good thing by the way),

But beyond just giving the blanket assurance that the market will normalize, which I am also giving, the question I am scratching my head over is: under what circumstances will the market normalize?

I will find better rest and assurance once I have that question answered.
