SSC and equivalent results: Rajshahi Education Board ahead of pass rate

77.77 percent students passed the SSC and equivalent examinations in the year 2018. Of these, 1 lakh 10 thousand 629 people got GPA-5. Last year, the pass rate was 80.36 percent, GPA-5 got 1,04,716 people.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the copy of results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganobhaban this Sunday (06 May). Then on 1pm at the Secretariat, officially announced the results of the examination through the press conference.

At the press conference, the Education Minister gave the information of the average pass rate of each of the 10 different boards of the education board.

According to the press conference, the average pass rate in the 10 board is 77.77 percent. The average pass rate in the eight general education board is 79.40 percent.

Among the eight general education boards, Rajshahi has the highest pass percentage of 86.07 percent. 70.42 percent of Sylhet Education Board has the lowest pass rate. Besides, the pass rate of 81.48 percent in the Dhaka Board, pass rate of 80.40 percent in Comilla Board, 77.62 percent pass rate in Dinajpur Board, pass rate of 77.11 percent for Barisal board, 76.64 percent pass rate in Jessore board, Chittagong Board pass rate of 75.50 percent.

Madrasa Board (Dakhil) pass rate of 70.88 percent. The technical board (vocational) pass rate is 71.96 percent.
