Japanese Mizuho will launch cryptocurrency for non-cash payments in March
Already in March 2019, the Japanese financial Corporation Mizuho Financial Group plans to launch a cryptocurrency tied to the yen exchange rate for mass use. This writes the Nikkei Asian Review.
As part of the promotion of non-cash payments in Japan, Mizuho attracted 60 local banks. According to the Corporation's plan, retail stores will charge a lower fee when calculating the new cryptocurrency than when paying with a credit card.
Owners of digital currency will be able to send funds to other users free of charge and transfer the asset from the Bank account to the wallet. Payments in bitcoin will be carried out with the help of special apps and QR codes.
Recall, for the first time Mizuno Corporation began testing the digital currency in 2016. The company plans to make cryptocurrency the basis for new mobile payment services.

В рамках продвижения безналичных платежей в Японии Mizuho привлек 60 местных банков. Согласно плану корпорации, розничные магазины будут взимать более низкую комиссию при расчете новой криптовалютой, чем при оплате кредитной картой.
Владельцы цифровой валюты смогут бесплатно отправлять средства другим пользователям и переводить актив с банковского счета на кошелек. Платежи в криптовалюте будут осуществляться с помощью специального приложения и QR-кодов.
Напомним, впервые корпорация Mizuho начала тестировать цифровую валюту еще в 2016 году. Компания планирует сделать криптовалюту основой для новых мобильных платежных сервисов.
