Internal air pollution is worse than outside of London: research information

The air inside the school is more polluted than the inside. A recent study by the London School of Languages in London shows that this is the case. The study said that due to this, children are suffering from chronic health risks.

The Guardian reported that in the new study, scientists have done a detailed study of five primaries and one nursery school in London. It has been found that more air pollution has been observed in the school's internal environment than outside. The air is polluted with diesel-powered vehicles and other sources outside the school. And the contaminated air gathers in the school. This caused the lives of school children in the school.

Researchers say that children are more affected by air pollution than adults. London's schools have found more harmful substances than the levels indicated by the World Health Organization in the air. Most of the pollution is due to transportation. Apart from this, the contaminated substances from the school building also spread to the air.

London mayor Sadiq Khan ordered the start of this research. The University of London's Institute for Environmental Design and Engineering and the Chemistry Department of the University of Cambridge jointly conducted this research. This report further states that the outdoor pollution of the urban areas is contaminating the air inside the building and its level is increasing day by day.

The London Mayor's office has said that a fund of about one million pounds will be formed for the most damaged schools due to the pollution. At the same time, there is also an assurance to take immediate action to improve the environment of the affected schools.
