It was an honor to be the guest judge for this weeks contest.
This is a truly legendary contest, one of which I have entered many times my self. In fact I entered some nice photos again this week but of course declined placement or mention.
I will continue to enter and now I know the depth of this contest much more so than before as well as the hundreds of photographers that are a part of this community.
I would like to SAY for the RECORD that it is VERY sad and DISHONORABLE that this contest gets over 200 entries PER WEEK and yet this post is only getting less that 50 up votes.
That is selfish and inconsiderate. You wouldn't even be able to ENTER this contest at all if it were not existing and for @daveks hosting it each week.
So EVERYONE READING THIS you BETTER VOTE and support the contest.

I am honored to receive an honorable mention because these entries are absolutely wonderful! First, second, and third are well deserving, and i bet it was a tough decision on where to place @trulafountaine as well - that is potentially my favorite one here!
Congrats to @jasonrussell, that's definitely an epic shot! @kuenok is also amazing, not only underwater but striking lighting as well, and such a graceful subject. Really very remarkable. @eyegasm I enjoy your work, this is extremely fitting for ACTION! Between the almost horizontal surfer & the chopped up water, I'm really feeling the motion!

We have to consider that Steemit has for now only roughly less than 400k users (i did not check the latest info). But thanks for the support it's truly appreciated !

It definitely does. I constantly open the app and browse through articles. I actually just posted a new blog. I also plan on putting more photography adventures here soon as well. I love it here. :)
