As someone who worked closely with the elderly, I can tell you that cannabis is one of the best ways to treat a majority of the problems the elderly face.
Modern Medicine is still very much needed, but a lot of the pills and things they get prescribed could be easily treated with cannabis instead.
I firmly believe that the rates of death from over-medicating would decrease drastically if cannabis were introduced.
