Medical Seeds 2046 - Starting Week 9

This particular strain by Medical Seeds brings us a cross of the famous Kali Mist with the renowed and well-known Neville's Haze. Both a must try for any Sativa lover. It's already entering it's week 9 but still with the possibility to run for 7 more weeks. Which makes me wonder how much more can these buds grow in the meantime.

Honestly speaking there isn't much to talk about how it's been growing. The breeder says it's a not so easy to cultivate strain, most likely due to it's long flowering period which can go up to 16 weeks. Meaning the added weeks give you more room for error on top of it already being a Sativa, which is delicate on the feeding side.
The buds aren't so big yet, which we can expect from a Sativa strain, but things have been quiet in general with their development during the past few days. Looking forward for the waxing moon and the days going towards the full moon to see some growth spurts.

Definitely the LEDs being used tremendously help with bringing out the purple (senescence). Such a beautiful sight that I dare to say there are few things that beat getting ultra high (or stoned... or both...) and just sitting there admiring these beauties.
It's worth mentioning that some of it's trichomes are already full cloudy and amber (not red), something that the Amnesia is already showing and which indicates potency rather than cannabinoid degradation. Some strains that have this trait of throwing amber trichomes early usually demonstrate a high promisse into getting you really messed up... in a good way of course.

Are you running sativas on 11/13?

More like 11.5/12.5, but yeah, a longer dark period than 12/12. Was that a random comment or you actually noticed that by the way they are developing and phenotype expression?

No I asked, cause many growers don't know it's the way to go. You need to mimick the equatorial photoperiod to minimise trouble :)

I find they start budding way faster and it brings out more Sativa qualities even in hybrids. I've been thinking about trying to veg them on 13/11, but am still wondering if it can mess up the hybrids. You can get 1 plant to hit in several different ways just by manipulating these environmental factors, the beauty of variety :)

You're right about that!
