High-performance sports car Hyundai i30 N launches
After many years of technological development, Korean car companies finally confidently jump into the hot hatch segment with model i30 N.
The Hyundai i30 N is the first car in the N-Series line of high-performance car brands in Korea, adhering to the "born in Namyang, honed in Nurburgring" philosophy. The car has spent nearly 10,000km running on the Nurburgring track to refine chassis, suspension, brakes, steering wheel ... to the highest quality standards possible.
Compared to the standard i30, the i30 N differs in headlamps, front bumpers, sport rear spoilers, aerodynamics. Double exhaust system with eye-catching red details. The prominent N logo is attached inside the front grille.
The i30 N is sporty in design, has a thickly designed passenger seat, a three-spoke steering wheel incorporated with multiple controls, and a modern electronic clocks with visual design. And the N-Series logo to distinguish it from the standard version.
The i30 N allows you to switch between the five driving modes Eco, Normal, Sport, N and N Custom. These modes are activated through a push button on the steering wheel, which can change the adaptive suspension's working ability, impact rpm, electronic balance, Steering sensitivity and steering feel.
The engine on the i30 N is a supercharged 2.0L turbocharged, 246hp engine with acceleration 0-100 km / h in 6.4 seconds. If the Performance Package is upgraded, the engine power increases to 271 horsepower and the acceleration time is 0-100 km / h down to 6.1 seconds. This package also adds a 19-inch alloy wheels, Pirelli P-Zero tires, red brake clutches, a non-slip electronic differential, and exhaust control software.
Hyundai i30 N is expected to begin shipping in Europe by the end of 2017 with six custom exterior colors. The car will compete directly with Volkswagen Golf GTI, Ford Focus ST ... in the segment of hot hatch - high performance class C hatchback.
