Today, I helped my neighbor.
Today, while driving my car, I saw my neighbor walking along the road. I offered him a lift and then some whiskey. It seemed that he wanted to say something, but I stopped him. An hour later, he told me that his wife had sent him to buy vegetables, and now it's too late as the shops would've closed.
Oh! I wanted to make him happy as he was looking sad but I had no idea that he'd started for buying vegetables for dinner. After realizing my mistake I dropped him home. I could hear loud noises of a woman thereafter. I am happy that at least I could help him. This is my achievement of the day.

I wonder how you responded. Did you give him a bottle to celebrate with his wife? This sounds like something that could happen to anyone who can't say NO, has a short memory, doesn't like vegetables or is easy distracted.
