What makes us lucky and gives us winning advantages?
Greetings friends!
When you toss a coin, you cannot know whether it will land on heads or tails until it falls. Life often acts like the same way. It is uncertain, unpredictable, and beyond our control. Yet, amid this uncertainty, some truths remain constant. A person engaged in physical labor is unlikely to become a millionaire unless fortune intervenes through a jackpot. A child born into poverty faces too much struggle in its life, while one born into privilege enjoys a far greater chance of success, unless he/she squander it through grave mistakes.
This is where destiny becomes visible. Family background, society, and the nation into which one is born shape the trajectory of one's life. A child raised in a wealthy household in a developed country begins the race far ahead of a child who is born into poverty in a struggling society or nation. Opportunity is not distributed equally; it is tilted by circumstance.
We often call this imbalance “luck.” But luck is not a mystical force. It is the sum of favorable conditions that surround a person. Family wealth, social environment, national economy, and political stability all weave together to create the fabric of one’s fortune. Life, then, is not a fair contest. It is a game that favors those already positioned advantageously, while others must struggle against the weight of circumstance.
And yet, recognizing this truth is not a negative thinking. It is a reminder that society must strive to level the playing field, in order to ensure that destiny is not dictated solely by birth. While luck may still tilt the scales, human effort, empathy, and collective progress can also rewrite the rules of the game.
Thanks!
