Christmas for us is a great celebration, we meet at the house of one of our relatives,we also make custard, fritters, flakes and we play secret friend, which means taking out a paper with the name of the person we participated in, we give the gift to the person whose name appears on the piece of paper, it is a nice activity and we all receive a gift

It is also customary to play music from the time, some songs have somewhat funny lyrics, but the rhythm is pleasant.

'The children of the family also enjoy Christmas, On the 25th we met at my mother's house and gave each of the children their respective gift. For us, Christmas is a very pleasant celebration.

Regards and thanks for visiting my blog.

My Christmas is a little different, but I like seeing people celebrating.

People on the street look happy because they have the Christmas bonus and can shop without prioritizing.

Christmas bonus is something from the past and if at all most likely we will pay us those bills piling up.

We feel happy when we receive it, it helps us a lot. In fact, many people seem happy shopping at the supermarkets and taking home more food. We have a saying that goes: "With the Christmas bonus we fill the fridge."

I can imagine it's a happy moment to those receiving it and above all the shop owners.

Interesting saying. We pay the bills first. That's how we were raised. Food comes at the last place.

We have a president who's like a tornado , he devastates everything in his path. He's cut aid for students, for the elderly, etc. country has gone up in price. We can't buy what we used to; we have to prioritize. Some families eat only once a day, as a study has shown. This bonus is like winning the lottery, since we can spend it on what we need, which is food.

It's not different with us. Me and my children also eat a little bit once a day and with me many do. There are more and more children visiting school without a meal. School doesn't provide it, no food or drinks this means they are at school from 8 am till at times 6 pm, next travel (some 1 hour or longer (2) like my children) and next have their first and last meal of the day. By the way, my children feel nauseous if they have to eat in the morning.

I know years ago it was different. It was normal children at kindergarten and primary school received a beker of milk and some fruits. Today it's zero.

A negative thing of dutch people is they are raised to pay their bills and all the taxes first so food is the last thing they buy if there's money left, but today the bills pile up and of course, taxes go first. The government simply takes it with or without bailiff.

I can't remember I ever had a moment in my life I didn't had to prioritize so if you had that moment cherish it since it means you had a time you lived worry free.

I am afraid all presidents and kings are tornados and those with a smaller budget keep paying all bills.

♥️

Here in Colombia, children are given lunch and a snack , this has been going on for years, thankfully it still continues.

Who buys those presents? Are specifically meant for 1 person if you play that game?

Each person buys something for the person whose name appears written on the slip of paper they choose blindly , it's a form of exchange with an element of surprise.
