Rave of the lost souls

As a past druggie i went to raves. And i really liked it there. I felt as if i'd be normal here, as i'd be part of this, as if i'd be for this. I felt really well among those people. Was it because of the abused substances? Well, that probably plays some part in it. But the even bigger part was that everyone here has his struggles. Like as how i was struggling with my life, others were struggling too. There wasn't a competition about how much one earns, how much bigger the appartment of one is, or something. We came here for the music, the dance and the rave. And that's what all of us connected - on first sight. But on the second sight, everyone consumed there. And why did they consume? Because mostly everyone there is addicted to something, because of their lifes, or more because of bad things that happened on their path of life. No one get's addicted for fun. They have a really bad time, because they got neglected as child, beaten, or even worse. And that sits really deep inside of everyone. So one day they discovered a substance that let the unbearable pain dissapear. At least for some time. And all those lost souls came here to rave!
