A Memory of Yesterday I Pen

I rose at dawn, prepared to face the wind, Down the narrow path I strayed, Through brush and field, a journey made, Through the chill and morning dew. Joyful to greet the rising day, Ready to meet whatever new surprise.

I reached the battleground, ready and prepared, The early opponents were easily cleared. Then, in the final minute, a Dragon appeared— Its wings spanned wide; I did not fear its size, But its flames struck me down beneath the skies. Though I could not defeat the flaming beast, I still claimed a victory, at the very least, Achieving my purpose.

I gathered my strength, moving with comrades true, The skirmish was done, but the war is not through, We live to face a greater threat, and so We must not regret the wounds that defeat shows. We'll plan and strengthen where we're weak, A path to constant victory we seek. Though the mountain of challenge may reach for the sky, We're ready to learn, to grow, and to fly.

My yesterday in summary: I aced everything... until the unexpected final boss showed up. 😂

That final test was great, except for MTH 101: Calculus—the Dragon that scorched me right at the finish line! Those five minutes felt like a single second. Can't relax yet; I'm back to preparing for the next battles (Test 2 & exams)! No regrets, just a new strategy. Wish me luck! 📚🔥
