Sunshine
A dawnbreak, a signal of birth, fills the sky from the east.
Weak and feeble you awake from your slumber.
The birds singing the morning hymn,
As they welcome the gifts of the new sunshine.

Like a magnet, the lazy is reluctant to stop his meaningless rest.
His curtains closed, his mind claiming his sleep is worth more than ember.
His resources get darkened while his property shines.

The advice of the hardworking he refused for a needless feast,
Dining and wining his purse out, clinging to hope for a heavenly manna.
Oh what a feast — poverty is welcomed into his shrine.

The endless thoughts he hopes to fulfill,
But noticing the time presents him with the darkness he wished for.
The night has grown and hunger has come.
A better turn he seeks, but a sword in melody he receives:
Make hay while the sun shines.
