Today an insurance agent called me.
One insurance agent had been pursuing me to buy a life‑insurance policy. Today she called me. I asked her about the benefits. She said, “Your family will receive the insured amount if you die.” I replied, “I am my only relative. Can you give me the amount before I die?” She immediately cut the call.
These insurance sellers can sell you life insurance even if you have no one to claim. Is there a logic?
If you buy a house with us and take a loan (everyone does) a life insurance is a must. Once you (or your partner died) the other is free of debt. Not the one who is still alive receives the amount, but the bank! With that the house is paid off.
I wouldn't take one if no debts. It is pointless I hope that salesperson will pay you out soon.
