Book Cover || a five minute prompt
You would agree with me that the cover of a book can be a major determinant whether you would buy the book or not. If the cover is attractive, it will definitely catch your attention for purchase.
Take the image I shared for example, the design fits the description of the book. The crack at the front of the book says it all about the scar it talks about in the book.
Hence, the book cover is like an introduction or a glimpse into what the book is talking about. They should go hand in hand.

I actually thought the book was already eaten by termites (Oops, I judged before reading ur post!). That's a great point though; the crack really does fit the book's description.
