I heard the term "for your eyes only" first in the 007 series with title of the movie the same as the expression. It was mentioned towards the end of the movie when the lady was undressing for bond saying, for your eyes only darling. Quite a movie to watch.

In my own view, for your eyes only seem to be private. Something you can see that others cannot, maybe you deserve it or not but it is what it is.

You know some folks just love their privacy, they keep things on the low and bring in those they trust or confide in to share with first before spreading the word.

When you have the privilege of "for your eyes only ", don't misuse the opportunity.
