Things look different when you are actually on the field to when you are an audience.
It is easy to judge when you are not the one making the tough decisions.
You see things differently when you are not pressured.

This is the same way with a red card.
Yellow card is for a warning, red card is for a serious offense and it means you are sent off.
Too yellow cards is equal to a red card.

When you see a game, you can disagree with the referee on certain decisions.
This is why the VAR is efficient in making a referee's decision easy.
I remember when I was privileged to be a referee for a friendly match.
I realized it is not easy to make decisions.
I was faced with tough calls, but I had to do what was best.
There was no VAR then.
A red card call, is a strong one because it blows the game wide open.
