Social media has been able to connect people all over the world. It makes connectivity easier and finding new friends possible. I have lost contact with some of my old friends, and I have been able to locate most of them on social media by simply searching for them by name. We are happy to meet each other after many long years, we exchange contact and plan to hang out.
At first, I found social media a boring place until I discovered a better way to use it. Most people depend on social media to help them through their boring life, that's a wrong use. It will entertain you, but trying to kill boredom with your social media handle can be disappointing. So, don't depend on social media to help you kill boredom.
Connect with people, make friends, have fun, reconnect with old friends. It is indeed a safe space to be yourself. Enjoy!
