Daily Prompts for FreeWriters, I feel suffocated in a car with the windows closed., Sunday suffocation, Pakistan
Assalam u alaikum,
We had set up a stall at the farmhouse last Sunday. When we collected the goods to take there, it was in sufficient quantity. And it was necessary to arrange a big vehicle to carry it. When we were booking the rider, most of the rides were available in small vehicles. Finally, after a long search, a big vehicle was finally arranged. But that big vehicle was air-conditioned. As soon as I sat in the vehicle, I felt suffocated, because I feel very suffocated when traveling in a vehicle with closed windows. Due to which not only does my head start to hurt but I also vomit and my stomach starts to hurt. My children also have the same situation, so I really want the car window to open and I can feel comfortable during the journey. This is why I asked the driver to open the two side windows immediately after sitting in the car, as soon as the journey started, because the suffocation does not end until the air crosses, which is why my head becomes heavy. But since his car was air-conditioned, he did not open the windows completely, but only opened them little by little so that the air crosses and dust does not enter the car. I took advantage of it a little and kept praying during the journey so that neither my health nor that of my children traveling with me would deteriorate.

If airconditioning is on windows shouldn't be opened but he could have switched it off. It's not always possible to open windows (rain, winter) but like you I do not always feel great (especially not in the backseat), and I open the window and if needed,d I stick a finger outside. What also helps is drinking (sipping) water during the journey.
