What the Light RememberssteemCreated with Sketch.

A chandelier in my apartment unexpectedly projected its shadow onto the building opposite my balcony.

A strange projection transformed an ordinary wall into an open-air cinema.

Doesonebavross the street likes to be in the spotlights? I assume it isn't just your light creating this triple scenery

Maybe once, but not anymore. I think the light from the three LED spotlights in the kitchen is responsible.

I think it’s time for a coffee. Would you like some tea?

Yasmine tea is fine

You couldn’t have chosen a better tea. How about sipping it while we enjoy the movie? 😊

What movie?

I’m not sure this is the right theater for this kind of screening, but if light truly preserves memory, then I’d suggest: The Guesthouse, Darkest Night, Faithful Moon, Night Call, Fragments, You Are the Sunflower. And finally, 06:06—the one I’m most attached to.

It sounds like a long movie night, more a weekend. You know where the right theatre is... You can add: You've got email, A good girl's Guide to Murder and Find me a reason to Life.

Yes, I think that theatre is reopening. The restoration is finally complete, and it has become much more welcoming. Let’s just hope the popcorn doesn’t distract us too much.

Oh it's amazing

Thank you! All credit goes to a chandelier and three stubborn LED spotlights. Privacy seems to be a thing of the past.

Depends on where you live. You people better be careful. Italy is in the news daily because of the aggression, women being attacked and brave gangs.

Thank you. We are aware of what we’re going through, and we’re feeling its impact. But we’ve faced difficult times before, and we’ll face these too. 😌

…or at least, that’s what I like to believe

Are men also attacked or this a typical fate for women only?

Yes, they are. Men can also be attacked simply because of who they are or who they love. Women face a very specific violence, of course, but I don’t think fear and hatred choose only one target. Would we have come this far if we had all been the same? I believe our differences are what have always driven humanity forward. Diversity isn’t something to fear; it’s something to protect.

Thank you for the entry.
It is an intriguing one.

Thank you so much for the prize. I’m delighted that “What the Light Remembers” intrigued you.

Sometimes a title is the first shadow of a story. 🤗
