Who would have thought that something so normal for some, like buying items online, could end up being something quite close to furious.

And I never learn—there are countries that seem to have no compass, not only politically but also geographically, and mine is one of them.

Let me tell you, I had been needing new sports shoes for a while; in fact, I hadn’t been able to buy a pair for several years because I was prioritizing other needs.

So, I decided to buy from an online store, supposedly with a good reputation, that offers shipping nationwide.

Since I already know that there are hardly any courier companies willing to deliver to my “city,” I wrote to the store’s WhatsApp to ask if they also deliver here.

They assured me they did, and even gave me the number of the courier branch responsible for deliveries in my area. Indeed, they deliver orders here on Fridays.

To make sure my order would arrive in time for the weekly delivery, I paid for my purchase on Monday morning.

On Thursday, I received a WhatsApp message saying they had a package for me. Wow, it arrived a day early, I thought—but I was at the business, not at the delivery address I had marked on the map when placing the order.

I told them I was at my business and asked if they could come by the shop, sending them the location via WhatsApp. They replied that they were 180 kilometers away.

It turns out that either the store or the courier company sent my order to the city of Bella Vista instead of Buena Vista.

Good thing they asked for the postal code and the map location! We’ll see if it arrives this Friday, because today it was still in Encarnación.

What makes me most furious is that this pair of shoes has traveled more in one week than I have in the past several years…

Quién diría que algo tan normal para algunos como es el comprar artículos por internet pueda terminar en algo bastante cercano a estar furiosa.

Y no aprendo, es que hay países que parecen no tener brújula no solo en el sentido político, sino también en el sentido geográfico, y el mío es uno de ellos.

Les cuento, estaba necesitando hace tiempo unos calzados deportivos nuevos, de hecho, hace varios años que no he podido comprar un par por estar priorizando otras necesidades.

Pues bien, me decidí a comprar en una tienda en línea, con supuesta buena reputación, que ofrece envíos a todo el país.

Como ya sé que casi no hay empresas de courier que quieran hacer entregas en mi "ciudad" procedí a escribir al WhatsApp de la tienda para preguntar si entregan también aquí.

Me aseguraron que sí, e incluso me dieron el número de la sucursal de la empresa de envíos que se encarga de entregar en mi zona. En efecto entregan pedidos aquí los viernes.

Para que pueda llegar mi pedido a tiempo para la entrega semanal procedo a pagar mi compra el lunes por la mañana.

El jueves recibo un mensaje de WhatsApp diciéndome que tienen un paquete para mí. Wow , llegó un día antes pensé, pero como estaba en el negocio y no en la dirección de entrega que había marcado en el mapa al momento de realizar el pedido, le digo que estoy en mi negocio, y que si puede acercarse hasta el local y le envío la ubicación por Whatsapp. Me responde que está a 180 kilómetros.

Resulta que alguna de las empresas, no sé si la tienda o la empresa de courier, envió mi pedido a la ciudad de Bella Vista, en lugar de Buena Vista.

¡Menos mal que pidieron el código postal y la ubicación en el mapa! Veremos si llega este viernes porque hoy seguía por Encarnación.

Lo que me pone más furiosa es que ese par de calzado ha viajado más que yo en una semana de lo que yo lo he hecho en los últimos años...
