Humanity has faced several threats that represented a danger to the continuity of society.
Most of them have been wars, which threatened both the lives and the property of millions of people.
But what I believe is an open threat against humanity in this era is a person, who unfortunately has been elected president of the United States.
I am referring to Donald Trump, who has shown himself not to be mentally fit to lead a world power.
He would rather see the entire world destroyed just to divert attention and escape the charges of pedophilia and sexual abuse of which he is very likely guilty.
What I do not understand is how the U.S. Congress does not remove him, knowing that he is an open threat against democracy, peace, and humanity itself.

They just love being in powerful positions. Think about it like this: there has to be some superiority complex. These political leaders or billionaires, whoever they may be, have accomplished things and now think they can do anything or find ways to do it.
His leadership looks like he wants to check all the boxes. His political views resonate with many people, so there is no problem for him things like receiving Nobel Prizes and annexing land.
He is appealing to the history books.
What could a person near his end be motivated for other than that.
