Daily Prompt | Shine a little light on

We were lying on the soft grass of the field looking at the sky and its millions of stars that shine a little light on the night, especially when the firmament is clear of clouds.

And then we both said almost in unison something like that the clouds almost always disappear at night, as if they too were hiding like the sun.

Or maybe it is that they prefer the company of the sun that gives them much more light than the moon, which barely shines a little light on even with the help of the stars.

Estábamos recostados sobre la suave hierba del campo mirando el cielo y sus millones de estrellas que iluminan un poco la noche en especial cuando el firmamento está despejado de nubes.

Y entonces ambos dijimos casi al unísono algo así como que las nubes casi siempre desaparecen por las noches, como si ellas también se escondieran como el sol.

O tal vez sea que aquellas prefieren la compañía del sol que les da mucha más luz que la luna que apenas ilumina un poco incluso con la ayuda de las estrellas.
