A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words/I don't need you

in CCC28 days ago

Isabel has been married to Arturo for three years, a man who, in her opinion, believes women are only good for housework, something she constantly rebels against. In fact, she demonstrates this by fixing everything that breaks in the house.

Isabel remembers when the TV broke down She told him several times to get it fixed, and he just ignored her. So she decided to watch a tutorial and fixed it herself, following each step. When Arturo got home, he asked her who fixed it, and she replied, "I did, while watching a tutorial."

And so she gains confidence and learns everything she needs through the internet

Something she notices needs fixing are several leaks in the roof. She decides to tell her husband, but as always, he ignores her. So, she watches a tutorial on the matter, goes to buy what she needs, and climbs onto the roof. Arturo arrives home from work and sees her ready to come down. He tells Isabel to get down from there, but she replies, "I already fixed the problem here, and I want you to leave. I don't need you."

Arturo looks at her, and seeing her body language, he realizes she's serious. While she gets organized, he packs his things and says, "Goodbye, I hope you can live without me." She replies, "Actually, I'm leaving for work now. I'll be better off without you. I repeat, I don't need you; in fact, you're in my way."

Thank you so much for your support.

Exactly, that posture shows anger. He should leave. A man who doesn't value a woman is literally superfluous, especially nowadays with so many resources.
Good story, Felipe. You're talented, I've told you that before and I'll say it again. I wish you luck in the contest.

I find it illogical that in this century there are still men who want women to be submissive; I find it absurd.
