An unusual pet
Nestor runs through the forest. He is a somewhat restless child. At eight years old, and in the company of his grandfather, he has learned the most important thing when running through a place as inhospitable as the forest near his grandfather's farm. His grandfather, an 85-year-old man, has been in charge of Nestor since he was born, as his parents are abroad trying to work to achieve better economic stability for everyone.
The grandfather calls his grandson, Nestor. "Grandpa, I'm here," Nestor replies. The grandfather approaches his grandson and says, "Don't go too far. You know the dangers in this forest." He replies, "Don't worry, Grandpa," and keeps running.
The grandfather follows his grandson as best he can, suddenly he hears a scream, it's Nestor, he tries to run faster, when he gets to the place he sees his grandson threatened by a large dog, Nestor says to him, "Grandpa, help me," the grandfather tries to approach the dog, but it reacts and lunges at him, Nestor picks up a rock from the ground and throws it at the dog.
The dog reacts to the blow, now its target is Nestor. The boy runs, unfortunately falls to the ground, covers his head with his hands, hears a honk, and feels something completely cover him, protecting him. He looks carefully and sees a goose ,it's as if his mother were there.
The dog tries to approach, but the goose won't allow it, acting like a mother protecting her chick. The dog moves away. Grandpa arrives, Nestor gets up, looks at the goose, and with his eyes says thank you. The goose walks away, but not before giving the boy one last look.
Grandpa tells him, "Sweetheart, you're lucky the goose is protecting you. That's one of Mr. Mauricio's geese." Nestor says, "Can we go visit him?" Grandpa says, "Okay, let's go." When they arrive at Mr. Mauricio's farm, the goose looks at the boy and approaches. Nestor pets it. Grandpa tells Mr. Mauricio what happened. Mr. Mauricio explains that the animal protecting the boy lost its own gosling, and perhaps that's why it's protecting him. From that day on, Grandpa and Nestor visit Mr. Mauricio frequently. Nestor says, "Grandpa, I have a pet now!" Grandpa smiles and says, "It's a rather unusual pet."

It is well known that goose are good protector, they are strong birds and have large wings if he opens them everyone can get scared. Nestor at least has now a friend :)
Sofia's comment: I'm touched to read your post. Mrs. Goose protects Nestor as if he were her lost son. How beautiful! It's something that often happens among animals. Your story is very beautiful.
Goose are bravest as any dog when are protecting the one they love, because I am sure that animals feels love too.
