Every time I see this photo, I think of a plastic jar with a purple lid containing Jodekoeken. Very tasty cookies, by the way, but I can bake them myself, so I never buy them anymore. I wonder if these lids close properly and if they absorb odours. Perhaps a close-up of one of these jars or when bending too close to the jar?

I suppose they close properly, what I DON'T like is that IKEA sells some of these without lids , you have to pay for the lid separately. It's strange, I wouldn't do it, I'd buy them somewhere else that sells them with their respective lids.

Perhaps they want you to have the option of buying it without the lid, so you can use it as a flower vase. Nice and multifunctional, or something like that, but I see this strange practice in more and more shops. A good example is the bikini, which used to be sold as a complete set. Now you have to pay for the bottoms and the top separately. And what about the printer? You used to get one with a cable, now you get a printer without a cable. That's like buying a watercolour or fridge without a cable.
