Julian hid an old family mystery in the dark corners of a city that is always buzzing, all under the glow of the 2026 moon. He wasn't picking up monsters, but a curse pulsed in his veins with each moon phase.

It all turned when he met Elena in that cozy, dusty bookstore that had a laugh that calmed the roar inside her and a smell of sandalwood that calmed the beast for the first time in decades, Julian felt like we finally came out on top. They were captivated by the urgency of those who understand that time is a borrowed luxury.

But in reality, terror is losing control, not changing your body. He stumbled upon a superred moon on his anniversary night, Julian tried to lock himself in his basement, but love was the Achilles' heel. Elena, worried about his disappearance, kicked down the door to help him.

He met a creature with erect skin and deep red eyes, not the man who had his heart set. The horror was at its worst when Julian, in an instinctively clouded mind, saw Elena's face just as her claws were about to strike.

The last noise we heard was not a scream, but a scream of pure pain that bounced off the city walls, the wail of a beast that had just finished its last chance at redemption.
