Exit
The place was dark. He was by himself in this burnt house. It seemed that there were a lot of effort that has been put into the house, from building to decorations and final touches. They must have chosen the colors of the inside carefully, to make everything aligned. But, now as he walks through the corridors of the house, moving between rooms. He realized that fire has colored everything in grey.
It was an unpleasant experience to stay within those walls for long. He decided to go outside. The door that had an Exit sign on the top was open, and the sun light is coming through as a stray of hope, getting attached to somewhere in this house. He saw the structure outside, how everything seemed perfect outside. He took few steps closer to the door, and a realization came to mind. At that moment he thought, what if the outside was difficult, that he cannot tolerate. What if it was the same, except for the missing colors within the house. Then he closed his pen covers, and it was imperfect finish and unclear description to his struggles. The struggles of going through a change. As man fears the unknown and at times, staying within known discomfort becomes a reasonable choice.

It takes courage, and it takes a huge amount of energy to change things. I know what you mean. Sometimes it’s wiser just to stay put, even if you feel uncomfortable. Simply because you recognise the situation and know how to deal with it. Sometimes it’s just too exhausting to keep fighting and rebuilding.
Steem on!
While it is famously quoted: "change is the only constant". But, it remains a really difficult thing to do when moving away from the comfort zone.
