Leaving AI Aside

Into the future, it is the year 2226. His great grand father wrote in his notes that technology is going to take over the world. He almost woke up! He heard the alarm clock ring. But, it did not stop automatically as it usually does. Because, the camera on the alarm did not see him waking up yet. It did not read that the eyes are fully open, or, the body movement necessary for it to detect that he woke up. His wrist watch is giving a reading of 'barely woke up'. The system is almost as if someone is with him in the room.

The room light start turning on as it is time to get ready for work. As the light slowly fades in, and gets brighter. He thought to himself, I have to make the hard decision of leaving AI aside! This is unbearable. He could not take one more morning of constant connection with every system. He seemed frustrated. His voice assistance started to play a relaxing music, followed up by the sound of waves. He jumped from bed and went straight to it and threw it out of the window. His TV turned on and played a message saying, that it is an immature thing to do.

He got ready as if nothing has happened and left the apartment. His car played a message that an irresponsible behavior has been detected and recorded this morning. He just realized that he is clueless when it comes to just leaving everything behind. He wished that this was the dream and the reality was the time when he was asleep. Then the famous philosophical question came to mind, what if one was happy in his dreams and the opposite on his real life. Would that make the dream, the reality?
