Foodbank?
Have you noticed that there are always people who have something to complain about?
The fireworks, for example, they call it a waste of money. Many could feed on what is set off. The truth is, I have grave doubts about people eating fireworks and matches. Besides, if every celebration is cancelled, what is there left for ordinary, poor people to look forward to?
Of course, you could say that instead of fireworks, you could give money to the poor. Would that help them get and stay out of debt, not buy expensive cigarettes and alcohol, not gamble and complain and change their lifestyle, act responsibly and get a job? The answer is 97% no.
It's way easier to complain, receive the Erzsebeth tickets and help, to be free and collect the empty bottles and cans in exchange of money, than to deal with all the rules set by the government and society.
Contrary to what you might think, we are not waiting in front of a food bank, but trying to find a way to the metro station after watching the fireworks set off in front of the parliament in Pest across the river in Buda.
