Plenty of Ideas....

in CCC2 days ago

I have more than enough ideas, too many for a lifetime and even more for a short one, after all, not everyone is destined for a long life on earth. So I'm running out of time, even though I had planned to rest more.
"Listen to your mother," G said before I left. I looked at her in surprise, and she laughed and said: "That's me." And with that, she might be the mother I never had. Straight to the point, direct. Just saying what you think makes life a whole lot easier. We clicked from the very first meeting when she said: "What I make is ugly, and what you make is ugly too." We laughed, and weeks later, she had made her ugly look much more beautiful. So you see, if you keep trying, anything is possible.
I didn't get much done today, or at least that's how it feels. Although I did collect the bones and a bloody skull of a sheep and set them on fire, and for a change, I could hang the laundry outside again, which is nice. I spent the rest of the day drawing hair and fur (and no, it amounted to nothing but a lot of frustration) and searching for materials I'm sure I have (like the pencil sharpener, which is missing). I wanted to pick up the watercolors, and I also have 10 sheets of paper taped to the floor ready to make 10 paintings (well, not really, I had a different idea) within an hour (hopefully I can manage that hour, but the sun has to be shining otherwise the room will be too cold and I won't be able to see anything).
And then there's @flcg, who could use some inspiration and a script for the comic he wants to draw. That seems like a perfect fit for the CCC community and the freewriters. What do you think, @almaguer? Is your room finished yet?

My room is the boundary of my small, amorphous kingdom. I still don't have enough space. I trust in a better future. I have some skulls to organize in my memory, chairs, leaves, an old coffin that rewrites unfinished stories—in short, the confines of the kingdom of shadows.
