Anthony had been constantly troubled by a dream for a long time. He was getting a signal in his dream to go to his ancestral home, but he was unable to go due to his busy schedule. However, this dream would not leave him. Whenever he was lying in bed tired at night, this dream would open his eyes and upon looking at the time on the clock, he would realize that it was 12 o'clock at night.
It was not uncommon for Anthony to have the same dream every night at 12 o'clock. He had to put aside all his work and finally apply for leave. After taking leave for three days, he went to his parents' house, that is, his grandfather's house. Although this house was a gift to Anthony from his mother, he lived in the city due to his business activities and rarely visited this house in the village. Today, when he came to this house after taking three days of leave, there were no old events in his mind at all. But as soon as he opened the rotten wooden door, the sound of the rusty door took him back 20 years to when he was just nine years old and had come here with his mother to live with his grandfather.
As soon as he set foot on the dirt-filled floor, the footprints of his shoes began to appear on the ground. He walked as if in a trance and some unseen force was pulling him towards it. He walked and reached the living room. All the furniture there was dusty and in a very worn-out condition. Among them, a picture of his grandfather became the center of his attention. His hands involuntarily began to clean the picture. As the picture became clearer, his memories also became clearer. This memory was actually of the time he spent with his grandfather, which was very pleasant in the beginning, while its end was bitter.
His grandfather was an expert magician of his time who used to perform magic with paint, and children and adults alike were captivated by his magic. But his magic was just for fun, not to harm anyone. He would paint people with a brush and enchant them, and when the spell of his magic wore off, people would smile and applaud him. He had also created this picture at one such time.
Anthony also wanted to learn these magic tricks from his grandfather, but magicians show off their skills but do not want to perform or tell about magic. Similarly, the insider could never guess what kind of tricks his grandfather used. It had been 12 hours since he came to this house and now he was sitting down to eat after cleaning. His intention was to sleep after eating. Yes, he was very tired. First, the fatigue of the journey and then the fatigue of cleaning in this house had made him feel unwell. Now he wanted to fall on the bed and sleep deeply, but at 12 o'clock in the night, his eyes opened again from the same dream that had been bothering him for the past several days. In this dream, his grandfather was talking to him and asking him about his guilt.
He reached the room where his grandfather's picture was kept anxiously. When he reached the picture, tears started flowing from it, and as they flowed, the picture's sobs stopped. He was worried and repeatedly ran his hand over the picture's face to wipe the tears away, but all he could hear was the same voice: "What was my fault?"
Anthony was overcome by the memory of this incident that happened 20 years ago and he involuntarily put his hand on his grandfather's picture and started crying. The pain in his heart came to his tongue and he apologized to his own grandfather because it was not because of Anthony but because of his grandfather's weakness. When his grandfather was coming down the stairs with Anthony, his foot suddenly slipped and they fell down. Anthony, who was a child at the time, could not catch him, due to which his grandfather was injured on the back of the head and died due to excessive bleeding and lack of immediate medical attention. When Anthony saw his grandfather in this condition, he could not make any sound due to fear and he hid under the stairs until night fell and his eyes closed with fear and horror. When he opened his eyes in the morning, his mother's Screams echoed throughout the house as she saw her father fall down the stairs and was calling for help. The neighbors had also heard her voice and came inside, but it was too late now; her grandfather had passed away.Anthony explained his childhood fear to his grandfather and apologized to him repeatedly while crying. When his eyes suddenly fell on the picture, he felt as if there was peace on his grandfather's face and that his tears had stopped. Seeing this, Anthony also calmed down, which made him realize that his grandmother had forgiven him.

Very well done.
If it comes to the issues I notice the same at certain hours it works well. You could write the story and next wait with posting till it works. Nevertheless, entries like these are valid as well.
Thanks for appreciating and guiding me I try my best
Describe What I See
Inside the frame of photo, there’s an old-school oil portrait hanging on a bumpy, textured white wall. The guy in the painting has a super eccentric look: a dark fedora-style hat, a curled mustache, and a wild Van Dyke beard that's split right down the middle. He’s wearing a heavy, faded tan overcoat and leaning against a ledge, casually holding a couple of thin paintbrushes. It totally looks like a self-portrait of an artist staring into a mirror. Also, you can spot that little green "X" close button in the top right corner, showing it's a screenshot.
Describe What I Feel
Honestly, his eyes are intense—like they’re staring straight through your soul and judging your deepest secrets. It gives off a very mysterious, late-night, vintage vibe. It feels like meeting a brilliant but slightly chaotic genius from an old detective movie. There's this cold, moody energy to it, but at the same time, it feels deeply passionate and stubborn.
#pic1000 | Poem: The Man in the Mirror
Those eyes don't blink, they pierce right through,
Cutting the darkness, staring at you.
Brushes in hand, fingers frozen tight,
Fighting the exhaustion of a sleepless night.
The black hat tilts, casting a shade,
Over the heavy choices he’s made.
With a split-tipped beard and a twisted mustache,
He builds an ego that no one can smash.
You stand right there, behind the old wood,
Mocking the world that never understood.
Time will run out, and the colors will fade,
But forever you live in this shadow you made.
Great entry. I have a question. Did you study his hand and what hides behind it on the table?
I have been wanting to write my own post on Steemit for a long time, but due to internet issues, I have not been able to write a separate post, which is why I am writing my post in the reply section of the competing post. I hope it will be approved.
