Big Jim

"“Big Jim” was a grown up gorilla who lived in this Zoo for more than 10 years. He can not remember when he was brought here, it felt like he was born here and that it will be the same until he will die.*

Recently big Jim was thinking more about his childhood or his family, he saw those little children who came to watch him and also to have some fun. He saw how parents tenderly were hugging their kids and he was very jealous. He was dreaming about the time when he would find a partner who they could spend time together and also to have some children.

Unfortunately he was only one in this Zoo and there was no other female gorilla here. He had a friend who was a Vet doctor she always was very kind and loving and recently big Jim started to see in her his best friend. She spend much time with him, she was switching the music and they were listening together music and she often stayed in his cage and was holding his hand. She felt his love too and felt sorry but there is not much she could do for him. The only just to give her love and to give him her company.

One day she came very happy to big Jim and he knew that it is both happy moments but also sad. She spoke to him and told that he will be returned to Jungle, it was decided that it is time to preserve such species like him. He was happy but he did not want to loose his best friend. She whispered into his ear: “I will travel with you, Jim and will help you to find your family!” Jim was happy that he is not alone and was excited to be free!

Los gorilas, al igual que los humanos, necesitan sentir que son queridos y también expresar afecto. Esa es una característica que nos emparenta más allá de lo físico. Me encantó leerte. Un abrazo.

Thank you for reading and I am glad that you like that. For me gorillas look always sad I do not know why, maybe because the eyes are very human like :)

I agree with you. They do look sad. If you ask me it's how their eyelids are shaped.

Yes, that is may be the reason :)

Estoy de acuerdo contigo. Tienen mirada expresiva.

Seems she is an ape whisperer. I wonder if it's possible to go back to the jungle since he never learned how to survive in the wild. Hopefully, he will be accepted.

You are right maybe it is not possible but I hope that he wil find his loving family :)

Thank you @solperez for appreciation of my writing and for support :)

Escribes muy bien, lees y comentas. Estas acciones las toma en cuenta el equipo de True Colours. Un abrazo.
