Mr. Wilson and "Moonlight Sonata"
Hello my dear Steemians,
It is already 5 years since I graduated from school and now I am in Royal Conservatoire studying Music. This is my dream to be able to do something in future with music and I am really glad that I have this opportunity. When I was a child in early school my mother has signed me to music classes and my first teacher of music was Mr. Wilson, who was a music teacher for many years. Actually when I saw him first time I immediately had very positive emotions. I felt that he knew so much and also he was very patient to my first failed stroke on piano keys.
Initially I was scared but slowly I felt very comfortable and also I spent hours at home repeating my home works to make sure that my hands are working better and able to find notes without difficulties. Mr Smith was happy to see me improving and later on we became very good friends. Actually within couple of years I started to take part in competitions and every time I returned to Mr. Wilson and we went through the pieces and also we discussed every single moment of music piece.
It is now few years since I did not see Mr. Wilson as I am moved abroad but this weekend I was going to visit my parents and was in Train Station, while I was on the way out I heard my favourite music piece Beethoven: Moonlight Sonata that was also favourite piece of Mr. Wilson, my piano teacher. I just was hypnotised and followed the music.
At one moment, suddenly the crowd of people were away and it was a scene like from my childhood, there was a piano and my teacher Mr. Wilson was there, just finished his piece, he also looked up and saw me, we both were overwhelmed but happy, I gave him a hug. Mr. Wilson was travelling back home too from visiting his son and decided to play on the piano here on Train station. This beautiful piece of music and that piano that someone decided to place here brought us again together. Otherwise who knows we probably would just pass by each other even without knowing that we both were in one place at the same time.

Sometimes I think there are many other moments in our life that have great opportunity for us, but we just do not notice them, maybe it is just a fate of our life :)
I have seen train stations with pianos that have random people playing and they sounds are beautiful. I am glad that you were reunited with Mr. Wilson by chance through the musical instrument that first brought you both together :)

I have nothing to add to @lupega his words although to my experiences that rarely happens.
I wonder who started placing those expensive pianos on train stations but certainly invite to play.
You know I have seen few times such luxury piano on Train stations, I always wished to be able to simply sit down and play something beautiful. Unfortunately I do not play piano to the level that will make people to stop and listen. By the way, the pianos were close to information centre or tickets control, so that there is always someone who could oversee that piano is not damaged.
Just try and see how it feels I mean it is there for a reason just hit some white and black keys.
By the way this person took her music along and played but the singing was awefull...
I think I need to prepare myself, the urge to do that is growing 😉
Wow, that is respect, he probably was like me who really wanted to try to play, actually from the picture it looks like there was wonderful play of the piece of music
Actually, I believe she could play and did once younger. Can be she no longer has a piano or uses this one since she brought the muclsic with her and placed on the piano. Just the voice lost its sounds and power, that is if it ever been there.
Nevertheless, you should give it a try. It is good to try out something new and you do not have to buy a piano to do so.
