The Voice
Hello my dear Steemians,
It was far in the future and the world was changed, the pollution caused many different changes in the health of people not only physical but also their mental health. I believe it was the poisonous particles in air. Unfortunately it was not visible for eyes and there was no smell that is why people did not realise that they were affected.
Andy and his father John lived together and managed well, until one day the father of Andy became a bit anxious, felt that someone is chasing him and whispering behind the wall. At the beginning the voice was friendly and John always told Andy what they were talking about. Andy tried to listen too but was not able to hear anything.
One day, the voice behind the wall told John that his son Andy is going to leave him alone, that Andy does not care about his father any more. John was very concerned about and he told that to Andy who was not able to understand because when he was trying to listen if there any voices behind the wall but there was nothing.
The time went and John told to his son that the voice told him that he and his son have to join the Voice but they had to do it with their own will. The voice promised that they will return to the old time when the world was nice and good. Both John and Andy decided to trust the voice and said that they are happy to join the Voice.
In that very moment they had nice warm feeling spreading from their head down to their feet. They were happy but in reality they turned into stones, in stone figures in the same position with their ear at the wall.
