"Calangahan Old Road, in Barangay Calangahan Lugait, Misamis Oriental"

Greetings steemian travelers around the Globe. Each place contains lots of wonderful views either Natural or Man-made views. This time as part of my travel blog and also my travel entry, I will take you to the very old rocky road in The Municipality of Lugait particularly in Barangay Calangahan. Not all of the road here are already concreted and only few parts of the place have been constructed a concrete road. If we talked about Nature sight-seeing this area is also a perfect place to visit and travel in fact there are lots of tall trees, wild plants and few agricultural plants can be seen and found here.

The Location:

Calangahan Rocky road is Located in the Municipality of Lugait in the Province of Misamis Oriental Mindanao, Philippines. It is a separated road from the main and concrete street But it is connected at the main street and served as a shortcut to all residents in Barangay Calangahan. It is near at the coastal areas and locates at the top of the rocky cliff.

Travel Fair:

From Barangay Poblacion in Lugait, it needs to travel a few minutes depends on how crowded the road is and sometimes it reached almost an hour. This place is accessable by different kinds of vehicles like trucks, motorcycles, bicycles and private cars. The exact travel fair if we want to travel and visit here cost up to 20 Pesos each passenger that is equivalent to 3.8 steems.

This road contains lots of curvy lane and on the other side of the place is the rock walls and cliffs were lots of wild plants and bonsai trees grows. Most of the rocks can be seen and found here are called Pagang , a kind of rocks that can easily polvurized into powder. Dust particles can be seen here every summer season and also includes peebles and few small rock corals. From the crossing section of this road, it needs to travel a few minutes before reaching the Barangay and we can avoided intense heat if we walked here because it is surrounded with tall and big trees. Aside of that, it will be more worth it because of the overlooking views here and can be seen the wide sea and the coastal areas. Because it is quitely far from crowded main road, the only thing we heard here are tweeting of birds, wind breezing and sea water splashing that is why it is very relaxing of we traveled here.

An Old Bangkal Tree:

One of the most oldest tree can be seen and found here aside of Balete is the Bangkal tree. This kind of tree contains big trunks, roots clinging on the big rock holes and produces lots of leaves, wide and big branches. This tree is almost a hundred years old and it is still standing until today giving a shady and cool areas. This big tree grows on the rock cliff amd it is very fascinating to see because of the big roots that looks like a cave and few wild animals like Snakes, Birds and insects.

Agricultural Plants:

There are Hundreds of coconut trees planted here but some of it are only grows without intending planting by the land owner. This tall coconut trees really helps and gives a great contributions to all residents just like dry coconut palm used as firewoods. Aside of that selling coconut fruits are one of the most popular source of income here in the Province particularly here in Barangay Calangahan. This plain area is filled with lots of coconut trees and all of it are leaning towards the sea because of the past strong winds always happens here.

A Great over views of the Sea:

From the tall rocky cliff lies this wonderful overlooking view of the sea and the coastal areas. The rocky road is also near here and can pass by here in fact there are lots of photographers went here just to take picture of the perfect sunset. From here it can also be seen those small boats owned by fishermen floats at the sea and few big ships leading to the port.

A Tall and Big Billboards and Solar Light:

The main street is well commercialized because of lots of houses, stores and tall cellsite towers. One of this is this big and tall billboards installed at the road side so tarpaulin ads can be easily seen by everyone who passes by here. Aside of that Lots of solar lights also installed at the place that can make the road side shines every evening. Visiting this place is truly enjoayble especially for those who loves nature traveling. Until next post, have a safe travel to everyone.
