Hooked on Steem Hop: Chasing High Scores and Climbing the Ranks

In the past few days, I have spent some time on Steem Hop, and I can tell the truth that it is a very addictive and entertaining activity! Introducing the voxel-style, crossing-the-road style of gameplay is a reason that makes me play the game each time I open the app: just one more round.

My Progress & Stats
My level is at Level 4 and it provides me with the Explorer title. I have been able to climb to Rank 78, which is not bad but I do have my goals on the way up. My new High Score stands at 47--it is much harder than it sounds when those cars get going!

The Daily Grind
The reward system is one of my favorite things. Today, I began with a 10-point bonus on making a daily login, and I was lucky on the Spin Wheel and won 55 points. It is an excellent way of increasing my overall which is currently at 1160 points.

Why I'm Hooked
The mechanics of the game is pure adrenaline. It is a stressful task to make my little white figure dodge through the traffic of orange cars, jumping over the logs in the water, and beating the time on those evil train tracks. My previous run had me at 30 when a locomotive very nearly hit me!

The best thing is that the game follows STEEM. Although I currently stand at 0, the fact that my gaming abilities will one day be applied in a more physical way is something that puts an added level of excitement to the game that most of the casual games simply do not provide. I will certainly continue hopping till I set my record.
