Level Up & Earn: Climbing the Ranks in Steem Hop

Steem Hop is a little-known secret that happens to be a fun game to play, should you be in need of a new kind of introduction into the world of the so-called play-to-earn that is usually not easy to enter into. I have spent a few minutes with it, and frankly speaking, the combination of an arcade game with its straightforward mechanics, and crypto rewards is quite addicting.

The Experience
The game welcomes you with a 3D isometric visual, reminiscent of a polished throwback of classic mobile games which require you to hop in a hopper. I began my session with a pleasant little dopamine high: A Daily Reward of 10 login points simply being there. It is a minor detail, but it makes the ecosystem friendly to the newcomers.

In the gameplay, the main emphasis is made on ascending the hierarchy. I have been playing as entity01, at Level 3 (Beginner) and the level is responsive. My highest score is 35 which does not seem so much until you are already in the game and you just want to continue your winning streak.

The difference between Steem Hop and other apps is the incorporation of rewards within the fun. The grind has a Spin Wheel option to give you some chance of luck. The highest I got was 55 points on my last spin, but you see those 333 and 777 point slots, you can only imagine that you want to go back and play just one more time.

Why It Works
The interface is uncluttered and the warm yellow colors maintain the light mood. It does not seem like a task; it seems like a challenge. The feedback cycle is very tight and gratifying whether you are after a new high score or making the next tier of the progression, which is: Beginner.

Steem Hop is also worth considering in case you are fond of games that can reward your effort and time spent. It is easy, lighthearted, and satisfying, as a mobile game ought to be.
