My First Contact: Taking on Space Shooter 2 with the Interceptor

Nicely done on the Lvl 1 clear! Space Shooter 2: Tactical Evolution is certainly looking like a slick and modern evolution of the arcade classics. You’ve just gotten a glimpse into "World 1: Deep Space", and "Tactical" is definitely more than just marketing hype.

The Interceptor: A Risky Decision
I see you opted for the Interceptor for your "First Contact" run; with stats that lean heavily into SPD and FIRE and practically no HP or RES, this is a true "glass cannon." 2/6 HP means you were definitely living dangerously but that 7x Max Combo means you were hitting more than just air.

Charting Your Galactic Course
The progression seems to go pretty deep. From the emptiness of Deep Space to the Quantum Realm suggests we'll eventually be running into some mind-bending physics challenges. Spanning from Lvl 1-30, this world seems designed to give you plenty of time to hone your reflexes with the hyper-responsive controls of the Interceptor before you're launched into the "Planetary Flyover" for world 2. I do like the way the neon effects pop against the dark backgrounds, it’s easy to track without being distracting.

The pursuit of the Three Stars
With 899 points that’s a solid start, though the two missing stars are likely haunting you already. Aiming for that 3-star rating will probably involve dropping that 54.9s completion time or eliminating all 14 hits. Shooters are all about efficiency after all and increasing your final HP Status is generally the key to nailing that perfect stage score.

It’s definitely got the looks to compete in the genre, but is the fragile speed of the Interceptor the way you'll prove your mastery, or are you hoping to find some hidden "Tank" class in that Fleet Roster for when the bullets start flying?
