Space Invasion A Test of Reflexes in the Void.

This is not merely a mere retro shooter but a cruel challenge of concentration and survival in the face of a hostile universe which gets more aggressive every moment.

I have just finished another tedious, but highly rewarding Space Invasion game on the Steem RetroGames site. Its structure is so basic, which camouflages the awing challenge that it poses, as it grows more and more challenging. It is that game where each second is a matter of life and death and each movement is a calculated choice.

Wave 8: The Rhythm of Escalation:
There is constant pressure in this game. Soon my session catapulted me to the later stages where I was desperately fighting the Wave 12. The alien forces at this level, the one-eyed blue cyclops ships and alien, unusual monsters, are traveling at breakneck speed. They do not passively come down any more; they are swarming, and their projectiles are falling down. Living this long then is mastering the internal rhythms of the game, the fineness of timing needed to avoid the fire, yet continue my own attack.

The Battle of Survival: High Stakes:
I have very limited resources, making the whole game a matter of high stakes gambling. I should always be on the guard of my remaining Lives. A single hesitation or a single wrong move with the arrow keys can cost a life and cause one to be thrown further towards the much dreaded Game Over screen. It is this lack that makes the extermination of every one of the aliens a victory.

The Tactical Firing, and the Arsenal:
Although my bread and butter shot is the standard shot (Space Bar), it is also very important to know when my specialized attacks are needed. Powerful Laser or the Big Laser (Up Arrow/Right Shift) should be saved in the circumstances when the aliens create an impassable wall or when a multi-hit tough enemy is presented. It is not merely about just beating the fire button, but hitting the shots with accuracy and calculation to get as much destruction as I can as well as to save my lives.

This was a dose of arcade adrenaline that was pure and not mixed. The fact that I managed to go deep into Wave 12 proves that I can be able to survive under the circumstances that are against me.

Thanks for reading my post I'm inviting @kafio, @mesola and @abi24 to try this game out.
