Steem Pong: The 145-point Reflection

The ability to score high on Steem Pong (also known as Steem Pons like it is commonly referred to in the community) is a test of concentration. On Steem Retro Games this game is popular because it is easy to learn and hard to master and it looks like I have really started to hit my stride!

I have just left the high-energy playing session of Steem Pong, and the fact that I reached the score of 145 feels like a great success to my reflexes! Although the game appears easy, a paddle and a bouncing ball, after reaching the three hundred point, it turns into a race of speed and will.

How to play the Paddle and the Blue Ball.

The center of the Steem Pong is the "Blue Ball. Just do not letting it fall is not so hard. Nonetheless, you are allowed a 10 Lives safety net in the game, as seen in my gameplay. And each time that a ball slips out of your paddle, you have lost a life. I was forced to be extremely sparse of those lives to attain 145, so that the movement of my paddle was a smooth, predictive, but not reactive motion.

The Speed and Strategy

The most interesting thing about Pons is the acceleration of the speed. In the beginning it is so soothing, almost meditative. However, as the score rises to 145 the ball starts bouncing about with random force.

The Edge Trick: I have learned that it is possible to hit the ball with the very end of the paddle to alter the direction of the ball and therefore make it through some of the tricky angles.
The Fingers are Shaken but it is Not Panic: As soon as you begin to see the score rather than the ball, you lose a life. This was a masterclass session on how to remain in the zone.

One of the Leaderboard Milestones.

A high score of 145s places you in a very competitive position on the leader board of Steem RetroGames. It is a score that demonstrates that your hand eye coordination is good and that you possess patience to play gaming that is long-term. Each point is a successful save, and it is good to have 145 saves per one session!

It was a game that was characterized by clutch saves and a lot of fun. It is the ideal method of sharpening the brain and interacting with the Steem community.
