🎮 So Close… Yet So Far

Today feels like a really frustrating day.

Still, I started the Steemhop game in a good mood,
ready for another run.

🚗 A Familiar Start

And of course…

a very normal start—
getting run over by a car right away. 😅

Nothing surprising here.

🌊 Getting Comfortable

At this point,
three-tile rivers feel easy now.

I cross them without much trouble.

But then…

I immediately die on a three-lane road.

So yeah… still a long way to go.

💪 Small Progress

Now even four-tile rivers
don’t feel that scary anymore.

I can cross them pretty confidently.

That part definitely feels like progress.

📊 A Tempting Score

I reached 21st place with 3,019 points,
and that’s when I started to feel a bit greedy.

Maybe… just maybe…

I could make it into the top 20
and get that 1 STEEM reward?

It felt close.
Really close.

🚂 Pushing Forward

So I kept going.

Crossing rivers,

passing railway tracks,

trying to push just a little further.

Every step felt important.

😔 Almost There

But in the end…

I stayed at 21st place.

So close,
yet just outside the reward range.

That makes it even more frustrating.

🌙 Final Thoughts

Today wasn’t a bad run at all.

In fact, it was pretty good.
But being this close makes it feel like a missed chance.

Still, I know I’m getting better.

Maybe next time…
I’ll finally break into the top 20. 😄
