Dugouts in Kharovsk. Part 1

in CCS3 days ago

I've wanted to come here for a long time, and I've been planning for a very long time, mentally and financially. This city deserves to be called the city of cellars! There are several hundred dugouts in Kharovsk, moreover, all the places of accumulation (cellar towns) are scattered in different parts of the settlement. I counted more than fifteen places with cellars.

During this trip, I was on the deadpan frequency, plus all the plots were of this genre. Therefore, all the pictures will be in this style.

The first place I visited is at the entrance to the city, at the very end of Severnaya Street.

The dugouts here are triangular in shape with a gable roof, semi-recessed, that is, part of the cellar is above ground level.

The weather that evening was most unsuitable for photography: it was pouring rain!

Yes, in the pictures it seems like winter, even if there is a thaw, but in fact it was just pouring water...not wet snow, but rain.

In order to get around and capture as many mstas with dugouts as possible, I left before dark.

But the distance and the short daylight hours quickly turned the light into the dark.

But that's exactly what I need. This is a big plus for me. If I had gone in the spring or even in the summer, there would have been very little time for photography.

And I would a night atmosphere.

After the first trip through the snowdrifts, or rather, after the first five dugouts, my shoes got soaked through. I had to change into boots.

This place seemed strange – as if the cellars were in a swamp, which is absurd.

But at the same time, it is very quiet here, as there are no residential areas nearby.

If this continues in terms of the number of dugouts, then I won't have time to capture everything in one go...

After all, there may be one amount on the map, but in fact very often there are fewer structures.

To be continued...
