Dugouts in Kharovsk. Part 4
Another cluster of cellars is located on the banks of the Kubena River. There are few dugouts here, but the most picturesque and graphic subjects have turned out thanks to the trees.
It took me a long time to get close to them – some kind of moat was dug around the cellar town, most likely to drain sewage.
This is the fastest location. Of course, I wanted to stay here, but I was limited in time and wanted to have time to watch more.
Besides, I came to Kharovsk not only for the sake of dugouts, but also to capture the courtyard spaces among the dilapidated barracks, of which there are a lot.
Now I understand the optimal conditions for shooting dugouts. It can be a snowy winter, or a snowless spring and autumn....but definitely not summer.
These structures need gloom, that is, the dark time of the day.
And graphics are also needed. I've tried minimalism with cellars, which is good, but not the right atmosphere.
In this place, everything turned out as I imagined, although in many ways it's not deadpan anymore.
Part of the cellars is located behind an iron fence of some kind of enterprise. Apparently, they have not been used for a long time and will disappear very soon. I couldn't get to them and film them...
To be continued...

Hi,
Now that I know how to use them, I can appreciate the beautiful construction of these huts/shelters.
