Greetings, friends of Camping Club Steemit. Today I'm sharing some close-up photos of a fern called the "tinajero fern" in Venezuela.

In the past, it was common to plant them in clay pots that were then hung in the corridors around houses. But I found this specimen in a crack next to a water pipe; I imagine it managed to grow thanks to a dark and quite humid microclimate.

It has a beautiful green color with reddish or brownish hues in the new shoots, as you can see in the images. This is what I wanted to share with you: those colors combined with the tiny droplets that condensed overnight on its stems.

Its beautiful appearance helped to adorn homes and bring prestige to whoever cultivated it, as it is said that this particular plant is very temperamental and requires a lot of care.

Scientific name: Adiantum capillus-veneris (search with Google Lens). It is characterized by its thin, glossy black stems. Its leaves are divided into small, fan-shaped segments.

Common name: It is also known as cilantro fern or coriander fern because its leaves resemble cilantro. In some countries, it is called "Venus's hair fern" in honor of the Greek goddess.

An interesting fact is that the tinajero fern has medicinal properties. It is used to treat skin problems such as acne and psoriasis. It has also been used to treat respiratory problems such as bronchitis and asthma.

In the editing process, I will focus on increasing the saturation of the colors at the tips and contrasting them with a dark background to highlight the shine of the water droplets. Each image is a visual poem. The photos were taken with my Umidigi phone, A7S camera, and edited with Lightroom.
