Greetings, friends of the Steemit Camping Club. Today I'm sharing some close-up photos of a succulent plant, whose scientific name is Portulaca grandiflora.

It's a plant native to South America, where it's known by many names. For example, in my country, we call it "bella a las once" (beautiful at eleven o'clock), a name that refers to the fact that it tends to open its flowers in the morning and reaches its peak bloom around midday. After that time, the flower gradually closes and withers.
It's also known by names such as "amor de un rato" (love of a moment) or "amor de un día" (love of a day). Other names include "rosa de seda" (silk rose), "purdolaga ornamental" (ornamental purslane), and "clavel de aire" (air carnation), referring to the beautiful and fluffy nature of its petals, which, seen from a distance, almost resemble silk.

This particular one is white and has many petals, but there are varieties with single or multiple petals. It also comes in various colors: shades of pink, red, yellow, orange, and fuchsia.
It's a succulent plant, so it thrives in direct sunlight and requires little water. It's highly valued in gardens and hanging baskets.

These photos were edited with white balance adjustments to achieve that bluish tint that made the white petals and the yellow tones of the center with its pistils stand out.
I used my A7S camera and edited with Lightroom, adjusting sharpness and lighting to bring out the best in this beautiful flower.
