Our province Misamis Oriental has different landscapes and wonderful beaches that can compete and offer to the world, but above all this, we have also a lot of wonderful places that we should have to visit.

Now, I do believe in the saying Love our Own, and it is also means that we should also love a tourist destination which definitely here in our place, and this is the Marcelino F. Ratunil Parks and Plaza which is recently held an opening ceremony as it was officially open to all after it was rehabilitated.

This park and plaza was created many years ago, and just last year it was being rehabilitated so it will be preserved and can even compete with other parks and plaza in other places.

I am happy to visit this place after a few days when it was officially open and now I can see what it really looks like in person after few months when it was under renovation.

I first went to the statues of our two Philippine Heroes who fought for our freedom as a Filipino. Without them, we definitely don't have freedom from other countries who invades us from the past.

Firstly is Dr. Jose P. Rizal which we also cosider as our Natinal Hero for everything that he has done. He might not fight with a sword or physically but with his writings and novels, it has a big impact that brings us to freedom. He was executed to death for his love to the people and to our country.

Another statue of a Philippine Hero that we can see here is Andres Bonifacio. Unlike Dr. Jose P. Rizal, Andres Bonifacio is a warior. He was know as the founder of the Katipunan and the Father of the Philippine Democracy.

He used his fighting skills and for being a warior just to fight against the invaders the Spanish Colonial. He has a big part of our Country's freedom and democracy, so we really thank him a alot.

It is great and nice to see that both of their statues were also rehabilitate with its new paint and color design. As compared before, it is much better today because we can see that the color is brighter and it is cleaner.

On the other side of this parks and plaza, we can also see the newly opened playground for the Kids. Before the rehabilitation, our plaza doesn't have a playground and we thank God, today the Local Government install a playground.

Many kids were here coming just to play and it is a good idea so the kids have time to play rather than play with their gadgets always. With here, they can enjoy and at the same time, they can exercise.
