Hello Steemians,

A full day hunting in the Sidi Khalifa Mountains early breakfast by the car, golden sunrise, careful preparation of gear, the quiet focus of the hunt, and the warm calm of the evening. Here I share the day in photos and a few practical tips if you wish to visit.

Morning Start: Breakfast with the Group

Morning fuel with the crew.

We gathered in front of the truck, shared food and jokes, and readied ourselves. That small meal gave us energy and a sense of calm before the walk into the hills.

Me with the reflection of the sunrise a quiet moment of focus.

The sunrise felt like permission to slow down and listen to the wind, the birds, and the rhythm of the land.

Shotgun (Details & Respect)

Shotgun details cleaned, checked, and handled with respect. Safety first.

We inspect each detail carefully: barrel, stock, and locks proper maintenance is part of hunting culture.

Ammo (Belts & Shells)

Ammo belts and shells organized and ready for the field.

Belts buckled, shells placed, hands steady. Preparation of ammo is a quiet ritual that keeps everyone safe and ready.

The Hunt (Moments of Action)

Taking a shot concentration, timing, and respect for the game.

Walking the terraces and olive groves, we stayed patient and attentive. Hunting is listening first, acting second.

After the Day (Rest & Camaraderie)

After the hunt tired bodies, full hearts, and shared stories at sunset.

There’s a special fatigue that comes from a long day outdoors heavy legs, light smiles, and a quiet satisfaction.

The Catch (Partridges)

Our partridges a modest and respectful catch.

We took only what was needed. Respect for wildlife and the land guided every choice we made.
