Khalqia Razaqia Dahi Bhalley and Pakoriyan, Depalpur
Hello everyone!

Khalqia Razaqia Dahi Bhalley Pakoriyan & Samosey shop is one of the oldest shop in Depalpur which is famous as a tasty food point. It is situated near the general bus stand Depalpur on the North side.
In the above picture you can see the exterior of the shop. On the entrance sides they have installed banners with blue background. They represent the name of the shop and available items to eat there. On the entrance there is a glass door. One door remains closed and the other one remains open.

This is the famous food of the shop for which it is crowded and people come here from far of places to enjoy the taste.
Here you can see Pakoriyan which are dipped in yoghurt. Pakoriyan absorb yoghurt in them and become soft and juicy. These are cool and fresh.

Here you can see spicy and sweet sauce in the picture. Spicy sauce is made of green chillies, coriander leaves, and mint. It is purely herbal. On the right side there is sweet sauce which is very tasty and it really adds a great taste to the recipe. Both sauces are used for Pakoriyan. We can also ask them whether to add sweets sauce or not or to get separately.

These are the dry spices. These enhance the taste of Pakoriyan greatly. In the picture on the left side there is a special spice which is used for each plate. In the center there is red chilli powder. On the right side iodine salt is available which make the taste more great.

This is the complete setup of the Pakoriyan and Bhalley stall. Everything is aligned neat and clean. There are special round Bhalley which are also dipped in the yoghurt and these are served on demand with a specific price. The price of 1 bhalla is 80 PKR. On the right side there is crushed salad which is also fresh.

This is samosa and pakoras stall. These are made and fried here live in front of everyone. Then these freshly fried and warm samosas and pakoras are served to the customers. This stall also offers fresh jalebi and another sweet dish which is locally known as tosha.

The shop has many tables in it where the customers can sit and enjoy their food. Each table has a water cooler and some glasses. Each table is surrounded by four chairs. Four persons can easily sit around a table.

At the corner of the shop there is specific area where the curtains are installed. If someone is looking for a place to sit and eat with privacy as couple or females then it is the best option to avail. The curtains are long on all sides.

There are two freezers in the shop. One is freezer by the come company and the other is a white freezer. They use freezers to keep yoghurt, salad vegetables, and milk. Actually they make youghurt as their own and use these freezers to make yoghurt.

There are different CCTV cameras in the shop. These are used to monitor the activities of the customers and order servers. These are very helpful to ensure the transparency in the working. The CCTV cameras LCD is placed openly and anyone can see it.

I ordered samosa to taste them because they have started them recently as in the beginning they were only offering Dahi Bhalley Pakoriyan. They served samosa in a bowl with raita. They also gave sweet sauce to use in the samosa. One can use sweet sauce according to their choice. I tried sweet sauce and it was amazing even I am not fond of sweet sauces but spicy.

This is the simple price chart of all the items they offer at the moment. They have mention everything clearly on the price chart.
The interesting thing is that they also sells Raita and sweet sauce separately. Commonly the shopkeepers do not sell their stuff like these but they sell and anyone can buy and enjoy at home.

These are interesting dishes. And they definitely look delicious.
There's something I'm not quite clear on.:
What ingredients are "Pakoriyan" made with? Are they fried pastries like samosas?
Yes these are fried just like samosas but in the dry form. They do not feel oily.
We can dip them in yoghurt to get to final product as explained in the post.
